Group runs + good deeds
GoodGym
Run as a group to do a good deed — fitness with a mission.
Started by Ivo Gormley OBE in 2007. First run was delivering newspapers to Terry Young, a housebound Hackney pensioner.
“Running with GoodGym is great because I get fit, do good and get to hang with a load of awesome people. Before GoodGym I always lost motivation — now I run two or three times a week.”

Our take
Pairs physiological synchrony (running together) with a shared mission (the good deed) — two mutual-focus mechanics stacked, which is why the bonds form faster than a plain run club.
The mission is also the barrier to outsiders and the reason to come back: you're not just turning up for yourself, which is exactly the integration phase the frameworks point to.
