About · PWC

A curated map for becoming a London regular.

01 · Why this exists

I came back from travelling, and the city had moved on without me.

Born in London, travelled for a couple of years, came home expecting the old places to feel right.

They didn't. Doing a lot — still not feeling like a regular anywhere. London has a lot going on. Most of it is either headphones-on gym energy or Time Out one-off novelty.

So I built this. So I wouldn't have to start from scratch again. So you don't either.

Ice Baths · Brockwell · SE24

02 · How it works

The places come from the handful of Londoners already deep in their Tuesdays.

The ones who can tell you where they made friends as adults — which Tuesday nights they keep going back to. Not places I tested. Places people I trust pointed me at.

You're early to this — the places are still small enough to meet people at.

A curation, not a vouching system. The signal is on the postcard back: “pwc · curated”.

Sauna · Stoke Newington · E5

Hackney Bathhouse

03 · The bet

From first-timer to regular.

Every place here passes one test: would a Londoner actually keep going back?

Most places don't. The novelty ones, the oversubscribed ones, the echoing-room ones, the gym-energy ones — they're not here.

What's here is the kind of place where someone starts to recognise you. That's the whole thing. First-timer to regular.

Sauna · Hoxton · N1

Banya No.1 Hoxton

If you find a place worth going back to that isn't here, send it.
