What you'd want to know
High-rise luxury training club and recovery suite on the 25th floor of 22 Bishopsgate, the City's tallest tower. Floor-to-ceiling glazing wraps the entire perimeter — panoramic views of the Square Mile, the Thames and the City skyline beyond. Inside, dark stained-timber and black-steel finishes throughout. A transparent freestanding climbing wall sits in one corner of the gym floor; a strength-and-mobility studio behind glass partitions. The recovery zone holds a tiled steam room with low timber benches and a small infrared sauna alongside cold-plunge tubs at 6°C. Soft warm down-lighting overhead; polished concrete floors; the City laid out below through the windows.
Overheard
- the recovery suite only really makes sense after a class — boxing, climb, strength session, then six-degree plunge and the infrared. don't come just for the sauna.
- the infrared is short and intense; fifteen to twenty minutes is plenty. the cold plunge after is where most people stop and actually breathe.
- the view from the 25th floor at sunset is the moment. evening sessions after work pull the same trainers and fighters — you start clocking them.
- bring two towels and a robe. the recovery zone is a separate floor from the changing rooms.
- members-mostly, so book via the app well in advance if you're a guest. it's not a drop-in spot.
