What you'd want to know
Newly built bathhouse on an unassuming plot of land just off Kentish Town Road, designed by Finnish architect Sami Rintala of RintalaEggertsson. Five timber-clad saunas in thermally treated spruce and alder, shipped from Finland and Estonia — the wood warm honey-brown and silvering with age. The saunas range from 75–95°C; six rectangular ice-bath tubs sit in a row outside, water 3–15°C, framed by timber duckboards. A chill-out area in the far corner with low benches and a herbal-tea station. Scandinavian sparse: bare wood walls, soft natural lighting, no signage clutter. Railway tracks visible just beyond the back fence. The whole site smells of pine and cold water.
