Why we built this.
the real story ↓
01 · London is lonely
Not because people aren't here. Because they don't connect.
This was built as a map of places you can go to that are not just sitting in a pub and making friends when drunk that you never call. This is where you can, if you go enough, start to make active bonds, become part of the community.
People say London is a lonely city. The solution is places like this — active places where you get your heart racing, built around positivity, growth, and challenging yourself. That's a great foundation for making friends as an adult.

Well known but not known well.
If you're only making friends on the dance floor, you become well known but not known well. A really good foundation of friendship is becoming known well by people — where you get the aside conversations.
If you're only making friends on the dance floor, you become well known but not known well.
The spaces on this map are the kind where regulars start to know your name. Where the aside conversations happen. Where being known well is the natural result of showing up.

Read the spotlight →03 · Different from the rest
Not pay-to-play. Not territorial. Welcome.
Padel clubs, tennis clubs, private members' clubs — they're all a bit pay-to-play, less community-based. The sauna scene is different. People from all walks of life have found sauna.
There's less “this place is ours” and territorial energy. It's more “welcome to this emerging, growing thing” because new saunas launch all the time. So you get to ride that trend and enjoy being part of the furniture — not just class-passing your way through multitudes of novelty and never really connecting with anyone.
