What you'd want to know
Two panoramic padel courts set out on the open riverside plaza of Peninsula Square, directly beneath the white spiked canopy of the O2 dome with the Thames at the edge of the deck. The courts are glass-walled with green turf, floodlit for evening play, ringed by low fencing and spectator seating on the exposed concrete apron.
A small pro shop and a stylish temporary bar sit alongside for a post-game drink. The permanent build rising behind will hold five courts inside a sustainably designed clubhouse with a shop, bar and outdoor terrace.
For now the setting is all sky, river and the steel masts of the arena overhead.
