Wood-fired floating sauna on a pontoon in the Thames at The Lensbury Resort, Teddington — london's first floating sauna. A bespoke timber-clad cabin sits on a moored pontoon, Scandinavian-style with a long horizontal window onto the river.

Inside, tiered benches in untreated wood face the water through the picture window; a wood-burning stove sits in one corner with stones glowing on top. The pontoon deck wraps the cabin with timber duckboards and benches.

Two cold plunge tubs sit on the deck for thames-style cold therapy without entering the river itself, though river-dip access is available. Open sky overhead; willows on the riverbank, swans and herons on the water; the lensbury watersports centre next door.

The whole structure rocks gently with the current.
