Choirs and singing groups worth going back to.
A London choir is the quickest way to sing in a group without auditioning for one. You turn up, you are handed a part, and within an hour you are making a sound no single voice could — which is why choirs make regulars out of people who would never call themselves singers.

Choral singing is social by construction: a choir cannot perform alone, so the group depends on everyone turning up. Weekly rehearsals put you beside the same voices, and the shared sound is the introduction.
The 11 Spaces below all run open rehearsals or welcoming terms for new voices. A term is long enough to learn the people in your section as well as the parts.
