Film clubs worth going back to.
A film club is a screening with a conversation attached. Independent cinemas, arts centres and pub back rooms run them on a fixed night, often with a short introduction and a discussion after the credits — so the film becomes something to talk about rather than something to watch alone.

Film clubs keep the room small and the habit regular. The programme may change, but the audience is largely the same people, which is what turns a screening into a standing appointment.
The 5 Spaces below all run a recurring film club or screening series. Watch the film, stay for the talk, and the following month you arrive to familiar faces.
