Mornington Chasers meet at Talacre Sports Centre on Dalby Street, Kentish Town — a 1990s buff-brick civic leisure centre with a wide low frontage and clerestory glazing. The club uses the small meeting room and the changing rooms inside, then leaves from the front courtyard. Tuesday and Thursday evenings, runners gather from 7pm with a 7:15pm departure; Sunday morning runs leave at 9am. Routes head through Camden, up Primrose Hill, around Regent's Park and out into north London depending on the session. Tuesday is the main club run, Thursday is track or Primrose Hill hills, Sunday is the long run. The club has been running here since 1986 — a small wood-panelled noticeboard inside the centre holds race photos and member announcements. Older established neighbourhood club feel.

  • tuesday and thursday 7pm at talacre sports centre. they leave at 7:15 sharp — don't be late, they'll go without you.
  • founded 1986 by posties at the local sorting office — it's an england athletics affiliated club, not a brand-run crew.
  • the race team identity is real. cross-country, met league, southern athletics league — if you want to race, this is the wall in.
  • for all levels and ages 16+. the pace groups split at the door but the older regulars know each other by name.
  • sunday 9am is the long run, leaves from talacre. weekday is shorter and faster. the club fees are low, the structure is real.
